JMSN - JMSN JMSN is the stage name of Iranian-American producer and singer Christian Berishaj. He's been active for nearly a decade and has a few albums and EPs under his belt. He's been making a bigger name for himself as a guest vocalist for a variety of hip hop artists. He has been featured on tracks by Tyga, J. Cole, and Ab-Soul. In 2012, he guested on several tracks from Kendrick Lamar's incredible good kid, m.A.A.d city. He's following a strong past couple of years with his sophomore record. Daft Punk - Alive 1997 / Alive 2007 Daft Punk's two live albums are getting re-released together today. Alive 1997 was originally released four years after it was recorded and was one 45-minute take from a November 8th, 1997 show at the Que Club in Birmingham, UK. Ten years later, they performed at the Bercy in Paris, which was compiled into a more conventional live record and released later the same year. Both are getting  vinyl reissues thirteen and seven years after their original releases. Watch: "Harder Better Faster Stronger"

James Murphy + IBM - Music Made with Tennis Data 2014 was a good year for new releases from former members of LCD Soundsystem and now we're getting some new music from the band's frontman. Working with IBM, Murphy takes music created from tennis players' moves and uses them to create new remixes. The data was originally compiled in order to better understand what makes athletes successful, but is being used in a completely novel way here. Listen: "Match 4 Remix" Listen: "Match 104 Remix"

Pink Mountaintops - "Asleep with an Angel"/"The Beat" Pink Mountaintops released their fourth album, Get Back, earlier this year. Their follow-up was recorded and pressed for French online retailer April 77, though it is also available digitally. Listen: "Asleep with an Angel"

Tegan and Sara - So Jealous X It's been ten years since Tegan and Sara released their fourth studio album, So Jealous. Upon its release, the album went gold and was the first of theirs to go up for the Canadian Juno Awards. To celebrate the milestone in their career, the album is getting re-released with new b-sides, demos, remixes and cover songs. Listen: "You Wouldn't Like Me" Listen: "Take Me Anywhere"

Wale x A-Trak - Festivus Festivus is well-known as fictional holiday from Seinfeld, but seems to be slowly becoming a real one, as well. To celebrate the 2014 Festivus season, rapper Wale collaborated with producer A-Trak. The mixtape features guests spots from Ab-Soul, Pusha T, and Chance The Rapper. bEEdEEgEE - SUM/ONE Brian DeGraw is a founding member of the experimental electronic group Gang Gang Dance. He is releasing his first solo album under the phonetic spelling of his initials (get it? B.D.G.). The sound takes on a more straightforward electronic sound than the work he does with his band. Watch: "Flowers" (featuring Lovefoxx) Listen: "Bricks"

Magic Trick - River of Souls Magic Trick is the side project of garage rock band The Fresh & Onlys' Tim Cohen. This is the third album from this project, which injects some psychedelia into the garage sound. Listen: "Come Inside" Listen: "The Store"

Beck - "Gimme" Beck continues his run of 2013 single releases with "Gimme," the last of the year. He's set to release a new studio album, Morning Phase, in February! Listen: "Gimme"

Charli XCX - "SuperLove" Charli may have just released her debut, True Romance, in April of this year, but she's already at work on a follow-up (excited to get more adult ideas out there). "SuperLove" will likely be a single from that album. Watch: "SuperLove" Watch: "SuperLove" (Yeasayer Remix)

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories Box Set Daft Punk released their highly-regarded fourth album in May. The box set version of the album is now out (for a mere $275) and features artwork, extended tracks and film. The Flaming Lips - Peace Sword EP The entirety of the Peace Sword EP was written for the film Ender's Game, which was released in early November. Franz Ferdinand - Right Action Remixes Franz Ferdinand released their highly-anticipated (by me, at least) fourth album just in time for my birthday in August. Glen Hansard - Drive All Night EP Glen Hansard become known for the Swell Season and the film Once. He released his debut solo album, Rhythm & Repose, last year and is following it up with a short set of songs. Listen: "Drive All Night" Listen: "Pennies in the Fountain"

Inside Llewyn Davis: Original Soundtrack Recording The latest film from The Coen Brothers tells the story of a down-on-his-luck folk musician in the 1960s. The soundtrack follows suit to the style of the time. It features tracks from the film's star, Oscar Isaac, as well as Justin Timberlake and Marcus Mumford. Josh Tillman - The History of Caves Josh Tillman (aka Father John Misty) has a wife, Emma, who is a film-maker. She recently released a film, trailer and information here, and enlisted her man to do the film's score and soundtrack. Kate Nash - Have Faith with Kate Nash This Christmas EP British singer Kate Nash invites us to spend Christmas with her. Her EP features new songs along with holiday classics. Watch: "I Hate You This Christmas" Listen: "Auld Lang Syne"

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Live from KCRW Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds released an incredible album earlier this year. In promoting the album, they recorded a session with KCRW in April. ONXRT: Live from the Archives, Vol. 15 Chicago-based radio station WXRT has been releasing highlights from in-studio sessions for 20 years. She & Him - The Capitol Studios Session Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward released their third album as She & Him, earlier this year. They visited Capitol Studios to record new versions of four tracks off of that album. Listen: "I Could Have Been Your Girl" Listen: "Shadow of Love"

The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat Reissue The Velvet Underground  released this iconic album more than 45 years ago. New Full-Length Releases

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories With eight years since the release of their last album, Human After All, this has been a long wait for Daft Punk fans. They've come back in full force, though. They aired a few cryptic ads during episodes of Saturday Night Live and released a series of collaborator interviews with the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers and Panda Bear. They've built up a lot of hype for themselves, but that doesn't mean they haven't delivered in the final product. They may have created their best album yet! Listen: "Get Lucky"

Dirty Beaches - Drifters/Love Is the Devil The music that Dirty Beaches (a.k.a. Alex Zhang Hungtai) makes music that I could only describe as 1950s rockabilly shredded in a blender, run over a few times by a semi-truck, then dunked into an acid bath. Needless to say, his music is very experimental and very deconstructed. It certainly wasn't love at first listen for me, but his interesting take on early rock and roll eventually captured my attention. I've very excited for a new release! Listen/Watch: "Casino Lisboa"

The National - Trouble Will Find Me The first that I heard of The National was when I was record shopping with a good friend. I'd never heard their music, but I trusted that friend's tastes enough to check out their music when I got hope. And guess what...I loved it! Their style hasn't changed much on the past few albums; dark, brooding indie rock. This time around, though, they're making greater use of the connections they've picked up along the way. The album features Sharon van Etten, Richard Reed Perry and Sufjan Stevens. Listen/Watch: "Demons"

The Beach Boys - Live - The 50th Anniversary Tour Well, The Beach Boys' reunion started off promising enough; they came together for a memorable Grammy set, released a lost album, and even recorded and released a brand new album. All good things must come to an end, though. Earlier this year, towards the end of their reunion tour, there were signs of a rift; with separate shows planned by various members of the group. At least us fans get this memento of their most recent comeback. Watch Album Trailer
